Adding a Professional Group (PC/PLLC) to a Real Estate License
The list below is all of the documents you will be required to submit to add a PC or PLLC to an individual real estate license. This is required to allow an employing broker (brokerage) to pay compensation to the PC or PLLC rather than the licensee as a natural person.
- PC / PLLC Application / Change Form
- If filing a joint PC or PLLC for multiple licensees, each licensee would submit a copy of this form.
- Copy of the original Articles of Organization (for a PLLC) or original Articles of Incorporation (For a PC) stamped "FILED" by the Arizona Corporation Commission that meet the following requirements/criteria
- The name of the PC or PLLC must be the licensee's legal first and last names or last name only ("John Smith PLLC" or "Smith PLLC"). A fictitious name cannot be approved. If filing a joint PC or PLLC for multiple licensees, ensure that the legal names of both licensees are named ("John Smith and Jane Smith PLLC" or "Smith and Smith PLLC")
- Only the licensee(s) can be listed as members/managers (PLLC) or officers (PC)
- A Designated Broker may not hold a joint PC or PLLC with other licensees.
- Articles of Amendment, if any
Submit the complete package as one PDF through the Licensee Login under "Add a PC/PLLC". This option will not be available if the license is not currently active.
