Every five years and pursuant to criteria provided in A.R.S. § 41-1056(A) and A.A.C. R1-6-301, each Department and Agency in the State of Arizona is required to review and make recommended changes to its Administrative Rules.
The Arizona Department of Real Estate is no different.
The Department completed a review of all of its Rules this year!
- On June 25, 2024, the Arizona Department of Real Estate submitted its Five Year Rule Review Report to the Governor's Regulatory Review Council (GRRC) for consideration and approval. On that same day, the Department submitted a draft of changes to its rules which would meet the Report recommendations to the Governor's Office and GRRC.
- On October 1, 2024, ADRE appeared before the GRRC and received approval on its Five Year Rule Review Report.
- On October 23, 2024, the Department received the Governor’s waiver on the rulemaking moratorium.
- On November 1, 2024, the Department submitted to the Secretary of State's Office a Notice of Docket Opening in order for to begin informal stakeholder meetings to begin working on the draft rules.
Today, Nov. 22, 2024, the Notice of Docket Opening was published in the Arizona Administrative Register 2024, Volume 30, Issue 47.
