What does ADRE investigate?
Common complaints received by the department may range anywhere from failure to disclose material facts to breach of fiduciary duties and from property management violations to illegal subdivisions.
To file a complaint with the Department, complete the ADRE Complaint Form and submit your complaint to us through our Message Center.
What does the ADRE not investigate?

Contact the Federal Trade Commission to register on the federal Do Not Call List or the Arizona Attorney General to file a complaint.
A Cemetery owner is required to obtain a Certificate of Authority from the Arizona Department of Real Estate before offering cemetery plots for sale, unless the exceptions in A.R.S. § 32-2194 apply.
Violations beyond the Department's jurisdiction may be civil matters able to be handled at the municipal level, or may exist under the jurisdiction of the AZ Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
