Closing an Entity in Arizona
Step One:
Sever all licensed employees with the brokerage through the Licensee Login.
Step Two:
Complete and submit the following documents to ADRE as a single merged PDF.
- Entity/Broker Status Change (Form LI-216)
- Signed and dated letter of resignation
- Broker Supervision and Control Audit Declaration Form, completed within 12 months of submitting for closure of an entity
Step Three:
The Designated Broker’s license will be placed in an inactive status. For further information, refer to professionals (Attorney, CPA, etc.) and/or Commissioner’s Advisory No.1 'Rights and Responsibilities when a Real Estate Firm Closes'
